Description
The Mejstrik hotel in the Old Town of Prague was established in 1924. Its interior decoration was inspired by the work of great Art-Deco artists. The buillding, now restored to its original purpose, can well be described as a "Design hotel". The range of suites and of single and double rooms, some of which are strictly non smoker, responds to the individual requirements of the sophisticated clients. The area around the Republic Square with the Municipal House is the historical heart of Prague with access to many interesting historic sight, stores, galleries and restaurants within steps of there. It is superbly located just next to the Powder Tower, medieval gate of entry to Prague, where remarkable King’s Road starts. This road leads directly to the Prague castle and in medieval times it was the only road served for King’s retinue. On the Republic Square starts the main pedestrian area, leading to the Old Town Square and the Wenceslas Square.
